چکیده

We study large-time asymptotic behavior of solutions to the Cauchy problem for a model of nonlinear dissipative evolution equation. The linear part is a pseudodifferential operator and the nonlinearity is a cubic pseudodifferential operator defined by means of the inverse Fourier transformation and represented by bilinear and trilinear forms with respect to the direct Fourier transform of the dependent variable. We consider nonconvective type nonlinearity, that is, we suppose that the total mass of the nonlinear term does not vanish. We consider the initial data, which have a nonzero total mass and belong to the weighted Sobolev space with a sufficiently small norm. Then we give the main term of the large-time asymptotics of solutions in the critical case. The time decay rate have an additional logarithmic correction in comparison with the corresponding linear case. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 35Q35.

Positive solutions for asymptotically periodic Kirchhoff-type equations with critical growth

In this paper‎, ‎we consider the following Kirchhoff-type equations‎: ‎$-‎left(a+bint_{mathbb{R}^{3}}|nabla u|^{2}right)Delta u+V(x) u=lambda$ $f(x,u)+u^{5}‎, ‎quad mbox{in }mathbb{R}^{3},$ ‎$u(x)>0‎, ‎quad mbox{in }mathbb{R}^{3},$ ‎$uin H^{1}(mathbb{R}^{3})‎ ,‎$ ‎ ‎‎‎where $a,b>0$ are constants and $lambda$ is a positive parameter‎. ‎The aim of this paper is to study the existence of positive ...

On a class of systems of n Neumann two-point boundary value Sturm-Liouville type equations

Employing a three critical points theorem, we prove the existence ofmultiple solutions for a class of Neumann two-point boundary valueSturm-Liouville type equations. Using a local minimum theorem fordifferentiable functionals the existence of at least one non-trivialsolution is also ensured.

On Asymptotic Behavior of Solutions to Schrödinger Equations with Singular Dipole–type Potentials

Asymptotics of solutions to Schrödinger equations with singular dipole-type potentials is investigated. We evaluate the exact behavior near the singularity of solutions to elliptic equations with potentials which are purely angular multiples of radial inverse-square functions. Both the linear and the semilinear (critical and subcritical) cases are considered. Dedicated to Prof. Norman Dancer on...

Asymptotic Behavior of Solutions to Schrödinger Equations near an Isolated Singularity of the Electromagnetic Potential

Asymptotics of solutions to Schrödinger equations with singular magnetic and electric potentials is investigated. By using a Almgren type monotonicity formula, separation of variables, and an iterative Brezis-Kato type procedure, we describe the exact behavior near the singularity of solutions to linear and semilinear (critical and subcritical) elliptic equations with an inverse square electric...

Superheating Field of Type

The superheating magnetic field of a type II superconductor is examined, using the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equations and the methods of formal asymptotics. The supercon-ducting solution in a halfspace is found to exist only for magnetic fields lower than some critical value where there is a folding over of the solution branch. A linear stability analysis is performed both in one and two ...
